Diplo Drops ‘Use Me (Brutal Hearts)’ with Dove Cameron and Sturgill Simpson.
Diplo‘s country alter-ego Thomas Wesley has released a guitar-infused track titled “Use Me (Brutal Hearts),” featuring Dove Cameron and Sturgill Simpson, now known as Johnny Blue Skies. The Grammy-winning producer unveiled a music video on April 14th, which stars Cameron and Sean Penn as Blue Skies. The video showcases the duo’s seductive verses in a Western-style strip club and rodeo bar while Diplo makes his way through the chaos.
“Use Me (Brutal Hearts)” is a part of Diplo’s upcoming country project, Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant, slated for release on April 28th via Columbia Records.
Diplo went back to his father’s house in Florida to prepare for this new project, spending six months learning guitar, getting in touch with nature, and reflecting on his life, career, and connection with this music. Diplo has a few upcoming Thomas Wesley shows this year, including a performance at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon on May 10th.
