Afrojack, Alan Walker, and Others Set to Perform at New Destination Festival in U.S. Virgin Islands
A new Memorial Day destination for electronic music has emerged: the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This year, the island of St. Thomas will host a multitude of dance music superstars for a brand new destination music festival, Sol Seeker. The festival’s debut will feature Afrojack, Alan Walker, Deorro, and KSHMR, with more artists to be announced. Sol Seeker aims to boost tourism in a region impacted by both the pandemic and natural disasters.
“Sol Seeker Festival has been brought together by a variety of local businesses—to showcase everything the USVI has to offer,” the festival’s organizers said in a statement shared with EDM.com. “After years of Covid and rebuilding from the intense devastation of hurricanes Irma and Maria, we’re proud to be bringing world-class talent to paradise to showcase everything St. Thomas has to offer.” The festival is slated to take place at the Yacht Haven Grade, one of the world’s most magnificent marinas. Sol Seeker plans to use the unique features of this location to provide VIP travel extras and special accommodations, such as weekend-long yacht charters.
