Amelie Lens returns to Second State with new 'Hypnotized' EP
Amelie Lens continues her uninterrupted success with a new double-track EP, Hypnotized, out June 28. This will be the Belgian wunderkind’s fourth solo release on Second State, not counting her contributions to two other compilations on Pan-Pot‘s prominent label.
These two cuts are fit for the prime-time bookings Lens has enjoyed of late. With both being above 130 BPM, “Hypnotized” and “Access” will surely be heard in the wee hours of the morning all throughout festival season. The EP also includes a remix from Lens’ countrymates, Joyhauser, for another searing techno track.
In a relatively short amount of time, Lens, 28, has proven she has the talent to support an impressive career in producing and DJing. She was the most requested artist to perform at Movement Detroit this year amongst the festival’s community. Later this summer she will host a 24-hour party for Awakenings at ADE under her Exhale brand.
