Boris Brejcha returns with 'Violet Pill' EP [Stream]

Boris Brejcha is keeping his foot firmly pressed on the accelerator in 2020. He opened the year by releasing his long-awaited LP Space Diver, a 94-minute-long masterclass traversing through multiple genres with Brejcha’s “high-tech minimal” style. Just a month and a half later, the masked-producer drops off three more tunes to compliment his 2020 release arsenal.

Violet Pill opens with the title track, a deep cut utilizing a wider array of techno-inspired sounds overlaying the grooviest beat on the release. “On His Way” takes a spacier approach to tech house with a warbling synth commanding attention throughout the nine-minute track. The EP closes on “Babamba,” a minimal tech-house track carried by a waxing and waning bass line accentuated with high-pitched percussive elements.
