Big Gigantic release funk-doused EP, 'Where I Wanna Be'

Dance music’s sax man, Dominic Lalli, and his drumming partner, Jeremy Salken, have released their three-track Where I Wanna Be EP under their Big Gigantic stage name. The EP is named after the crowd favorite single, a piano-laden, soul-filled, oscillating synth groover with a blissfully serenading sax solo. This release comes days after a successful Red Rocks back-to-back performance, the eighth annual version of Big Gigantic’s Rowdytown.

This comes after the release of “Friends” featuring Ashe and “You’re The One” featuring Nevve, both featured on the extended play. These two singles are on the smoother, classic, pop-funk side, while “Where I Wanna Be” takes a heavier direction to the groups original electro-funk style. The Boulder duo has taken 2019 in stride, releasing new singles since three years ago and enough to fill an extended play.
