David Guetta ft. Raye – Stay (Don't Go Away)
David Guetta is back to his crossover antics with a brand new vocal collaboration. “Stay” is built for the radio, appealing to the ears with a mellowed 4/4 base and soft pads that do well in accenting Raye’s vocals. The tune’s drops are subtle, yet fun, in their arrangement. It’s the kind of track one would blast in the car with the windows down.
Crossover tracks have been a motif in Guetta’s productions since 2019 began. While 2018 saw the introduction of his tech house-focused Jack Back project, he’s since put out a considerable amount of more digestible fare like his Brooks collaboration “Better When You’re Gone” and his return to big room alongside Nicky Romero in “Ring The Alarm.”
