Coachella's first weekend bought out in 40 minutes, each weekends inside six hours

Tickets for Coachella‘s 2019 version flew off the digital cabinets inside hours — even minutes! — of occurring sale.

The iconic California pageant’s first weekend, slated for April 12-14, bought out of its normal admission tickets in simply 40 minutes, with tickets for weekend two (April 19-21) following shortly after. Six hours after going public, all Coachella passes had been completely bought out. The previous two years, tickets bought out inside three hours.

Tickets went on sale a day after the pageant introduced its star-studded 2019 lineup, boasting noteworthy acts like Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, and Ariana Grande set to headline. Notable dance music acts embody fan favorites DJ Snake, Bassnectar, Diplo, and Four Tet.
