The EDM legend, Kelli Hand, has recently passed away, Detroit Metro Times stated. Family, friends, and fans have taken to social media to mourn her death.
Hand is known for her boundary-pushing projects which made head waves during the ’90s. Her musical catalog is filled with singles, albums, and collaborations.
In an exclusive interview, Kelli once mentioned that entering the EDM arena was hard for her, mainly due to the existing gender inequalities in the industry.
She further added: “didn’t want people to know I was a girl, because I was just minding the music business.”
Our hearts go out to Kelli’s family and friends.
