Dr. Fresch and Volac drop off commanding new collaboration, 'Filthy'

Dr. Fresch and Volac have proven their sonic union an incontrovertibly “Filthy” one. The aptly titled new number brings hip-hop-inflected house finesse to the underground. With Dread MC on the mic, the grating bass line gains a vigorous vocal overlay that can rightly assume credit for much of the track’s aural audacity. The cut’s gritty descents are in compelling contrast to the airy momentum heard in the song’s builds.
