Australian electronic pioneers The Presets are set to soundtrack Sydney’s New Year Eve fireworks and we are here for it!

To be honest, we’ve never really thought too much about who’s behind the sounds as millions of dollars of fireworks are blasted into the stratosphere and blown to smithereens but this changes everything.

Now, as keen fans of New Year Eve fireworks exclusively soundtracked by The Presets , we’re interested to know if we’re going to hear some classics including ‘Are You The One’ or the subtle anti-gov/refugee policy track ‘My People’? More on that in our podcast episode with the duo.

That, or if this will be an original score of filthy electronic goodness to ring in the new year?

Their recent Facebook and Instagram posts don’t reveal too much on that front but claim that a new track will be premiered once the gong strikes midnight. So that alone has us looking forward to 2022!
