Eric Prydz drops huge new banger that’ll make you miss festivals

Eric Prydz has done a very good job of making us miss festivals with his latest single and cap-lock appropriate ‘NOPUS’. The famous Swedish producer has combined some classic house prodding piano keys with progressive house style synths for a monster festival anthem. It has all the drama you’d expect for an emotionally charged set in front of tens of thousands of people.

Recently, Eric Prydz dropped the story behind the name of the track, quoting;

“In 2015, I made a track called “Opus” and I played… But I premiered that track for… I actually made it to play as the last track of my set at EDC, Las Vegas, the big festival in Las Vegas, and then obviously the track became a huge success, and the next year people were talking about, “Oh, I wonder what new track he’s going to play last in his EDC set this year.” Which kind of made me feel like, “Ooh, I kind of… I need to pull out something special here.”

The song is accompanied by a music video that shows off Prydz humungous pre-pandemic live show. It’s the type of amazing production that draws similar comparison to The Chemical Brothers live show that toured Sydney last year.
