Ganja White Night rework BOOGIE T.RIO's 'Dear Weed Man' for fresh dub inspiration [Stream]
In synergetic fashion, BOOGIE T.RIO has recruited none other than Ganja White Night for a remix of their reggae-inspired track “Dear Weed Man.” Hailing from the New Orleans trio’s Remedies EP, the original mix pays homage to one essential worker in a bursting brass, dub-infused ode. Since unveiling his newest musical project at Electric Forest 2018, Boogie T and his three-piece live band have quickly amassed a following that has seen them perform nationwide on a headlining tour and across mainstay bass festivals like Lost Lands and Voodoo.
On their rework of “Dear Weed Man,” Ganja White Night inject their distinctive sonic tastes into a new wobbly orchestration of the anthem. Keeping in tune with its predecessor’s intrinsic island derivatives, the Belgian heavyweights unite a cohesive blend of dubstep, reggae, and Jamaican-flavored elements into a refreshing take on the BOOGIE T.RIO stoner jam.
