Gorgon City release single and official video for 'Nobody'

Following hot on the heels of their smash collaboration, “There For You” with MK, Gorgon City have returned to the charts with their latest release, “Nobody.” The UK duo have built their catalog of club-centric house hits throughout their career, yet their latest single slows the tempo down and shares a uniquely introspective piece of work. Rather than fashioning the introduction with a signature thumping 4×4 bassline, “Nobody” shows signs of deting from their beat-driven productions towards a more soulful sonic direction.

Teaming up with Chicago-based R&B and soul vocalists Drama for this unique release, the single locks listeners immediately with introductory piano chord and tender vocal lines, which harmoniously blend into the track’s downtempo working. The official music video for “Nobody” journeys through the streets of Chicago from the eyes of street dancers, sharing the song’s underlying broken love story through the motions of dance.
