Major Lazer, IZA, and Ciara convene for simmering, multilingual single, 'Evapora' – EDM All Day

Contrary to its title, Ciara, IZA, and Major Lazer‘s new collaboration, “Evapora,” is unlikely to evaporate from electronic charts once it makes its assured arrival. The star power-packed single positions Portuguese vocalist, IZA, alongside the “One, Two Step” hip-hop/dance-pop sensation, Ciara, for a multilingual effort that sees IZA sing in her native tongue.

Ciara’s verses, sung in English, provide linguistic contrast to IZA’s, though both songstresses show off the buttery smooth synergy of their vocal harmony later on, when Ciara joins IZA in her Portuguese delivery. Major Lazer add heat to the culturally infused cut with rolling beats that tempt a shake of the hips.

“Evapora” follows Major Lazer’s recent release of their fan-foregrounding music video for equally hot number, “Que Calor.”
