Mat Zo plays 'Games' on rowdy new UKF single

It’s been a mere month since the deliverance of the last Mat Zo single, and the Mad Zoo head honcho is back with a new one—this time UKF.

“Games” sees the producer build a Latin-infused drum ‘n’ bass soundscape that’s miles away from his previous dnb release, October’s “Emotion Sickness.” The Bassrush tune was a chilling one, lush with eerie melodies and frenzied rhythms. On “Games,” Mat Zo exposes the underbelly of his style of drum ‘n’ bass by introducing warm piano melodies, bold horns, and catchy vocals. Though vastly different from previous releases, his top-notch production shines as brightly as ever, and his dnb patterns glide smoothly into listeners’ eardrums.

“Games” is out now as part of the massive UKF10 compilation, which drops in full on Nov. 29 and consists of 37 tracks. Listen to the compilation’s previously released singles here.
