NGHTMRE releases futuristic, bass-riddled remix of Oliver Tree's 'Hurt'

NGHTMRE returns with his latest remix, an addictive treatment of LA-based artist Oliver Tree‘s hit single “Hurt.” NGHTMRE first premiered the remix at his Coachella performance earlier this year when he threw down at the Sahara tent. The Gud Vibrations co-founder has dropped some heavy-hitting releases in 2019, collaborating with A$AP Ferg on “REDLIGHT” and triple-teaming with Lil Jon and Shaquille O’Neal on “Bang.” Both tracks skew to the low-end, though NGHTMRE’s “Hurt” remix and its melodic production sees a departure from the harder sounds. With his latest remix, NGHTMRE wants to remind everyone he can still do both.

The new remix takes “Hurt” on a classic future-bass ride that amps up the track’s dance floor appeal, infusing vibrating synth waves into his new production. Retaining the basic elements of Oliver Tree’s original track, NGHTMRE delivers an embellished electronic makeover to “Hurt,” transforming the angsty alternative jam to an appropriate club energizer.
