Peggy Gou has released ‘Lobster Telephone’, a track from her anticipated debut album titled ‘I Hear You’. The LP is in June 2024 via XL Recordings.
Inspired by Salvador Dali’s iconic sculpture, ‘Lobster Telephone’ follows previously released singles including ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’, ‘1+1=11’, and ‘I Believe In Love Again feat. Lenny Kravitz.’ The new track displays the South Korean artist’s distinctive musical style, blending her vocals with nostalgic ’90s house beats.
Speaking about her upcoming album, which is set for release on June 7th, Gou said, “I Hear You is more than just my debut album. It embodies countless hours of dedication in my journey to create something timeless, and is a testament to the power of listening, to ourselves and to each other.”
