Every year, choosing the top electronic/dance music albums is no easy feat — yet it’s something we take very seriously here at The Nocturnal Times. Throughout the course of the year, it’s safe to say that we’ve listened to well over 300+ albums, but that number could truly be closer to or even exceeding 500 albums. This is only accounting for full-length studio albums (LPs), not even considering EPs or singles. The Nocturnal Times Time Electronic/Dance Albums of 2024 includes 124 of our favorite LPs that were released this year. As you venture through an array of artists — both world-famous or veteran acts and breakout or newcomers — you’ll journey through a countdown of our very favorite albums — all the way from No. 1 to No. 124. This year feels even more special as the time comes for year in review and end-of-year recaps because The Nocturnal Times recently celebrated our 10-year-anniversary in 2024.
