EVAN GIIA makes her Astralwerks debut with Memba co-produced single 'Encore'

Astralwerks has signed Brooklyn-based, Berklee College of Music alumna EVAN GIIA, and she is finally out with her first single on the label. “Encore” is co-produced by fellow rising star MEMBA, who’s become somewhat of a favorite on ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective. The new joint effort follows up their last collaboration, “Heat Of The Moment,” which also served as GIIA’s recording debut. They continue their success working together with this smooth new single.

“Encore” begins with a cinematic build that lays the foundation for GIIA’s sultry vocals. Energy builds and emotions stir, leading into an overwhelming bass-tinged drop; the effect is quite climactic. Additionally, the production feels built for radio play; moments of electronic euphoria are laced throughout the crossover-appealing tune, and GIIA’s impassioned vocals are a help create a well-rounded whole.
